Scientific Discussions of Sound Healing
Music Tuned to 440 Hz Versus 432 Hz and the Health Effects: A Double-blind Cross-over Pilot Study
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31031095/
Conclusions: The data suggests that 432 Hz tuned music can decrease heart rate more than 440 Hz tuned music.
The Listening to music tuned to 440 Hz versus 432 Hz to reduce anxiety and stress in emergency nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic: a double-blind, randomized controlled pilot study
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35545982/
Conclusions: Listening to music at 432 Hz is a low cost and short intervention that can be a useful resource to manage anxiety and stress.
Toward an Integral Energy Medicine Model for Understanding the Vascular Autonomic Signal (VAS)
https://journals.sfu.ca/seemj/index.php/seemj/article/view/64/51
Discussion: As Bill Tiller suggests in Science and Human Transformation, homeostasis is maintained through an ongoing information transfer between frequencies of consciousness, energy and matter. To include all factors of this "dynamic equation of nature" is to form an Integral Energy Medicine model, taking into account the effects of all aspects of our nature: physiology, electromagnetic energy, subtle energy and consciousness. Not to include all factors is to ignore data and limit understanding. Although subtle energy and consciousness are not validated within the accepted scientific-medical model, the effects of energy, and of focused consciousness, on the human system have been well documented-measurements of the impact of emotions on brain responses and perceptions, effects of electromagnetic pollution, photography of variations in light around a body, hypnosis' effects on physiology, and the ability of biofeedback to control autonomic responses as some examples. To study the phenomenon of the VAS, as a subtle energetic diagnostic tool, fully necessitates exploring the domains of information transfer occurring amongst all levels of consciousness, energy and matter. Such a conceptualization of the communication that results in a practitioner feeling the change in the pulse that is the VAS offers an opportunity to reflect the whole wonder of the VAS and the human system that it reflects.
Sound healing reduces generalized anxiety during the pandemic: A feasibility study
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0965229923000341
Conclusions: Results indicate that Biofield Tuning (BT) delivered virtually is feasible and amenable to study, and that the impact of BT may be substantial in reducing anxiety and improving mental health. This is the first study of its kind to report clinically significant reductions in anxiety levels in response to a virtually-delivered, biofield-based sound therapy.
Sound Healing using Solfeggio Frequencies
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/333852911_Sound_Healing_using_Solfeggio_Frequencies
Conclusions: Sound healing can successfully be used as therapy for PTSD, anxiety and physical illness. Tuning into specific significant frequencies can assist with combating man-made Electromagnetic Frequencies that cause disease, disharmony and amplifying negativity. Historically, across cultures and early religions including Christian, East Indian, Western European evidence of ancient archetypal sounds, otherwise known as Solfeggio frequencies are prevalent. The research supports my thesis through its exploration of the 6 solfeggio electromagnetic frequencies and its correlation with the modern music scale, ancient archetypal sounds as alternatives to medicine. Through the study of solfeggio frequencies and its effect on
the mind, body and spirit, we can come to the conclusion that sound therapy is effective in healing various ailments.
Sound meditation in oncological rehabilitation - a pilot study of a receptive music therapy group using the monochord
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19142043/
Conclusions: The preliminary results of the pilot study suggest that sound meditation represents an effective relaxation therapy from the beginning of the treatment. In contrast to some other relaxation methods, sound meditation does not require regular exercise or practice to achieve positive effects.
Life Rhythm as a Symphony of Oscillatory Patterns:Electromagnetic Energy and Sound Vibration Modulates Gene Expression for Biological Signaling and Healing
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.7453/gahmj.2014.008
Discussion: "A person does not hear sound only through the
ears; he hears sound through every pore of his body. It permeates the entire being, and according to its particular influence either slows or quickens the rhythm of the blood circulation; it either wakens or soothes the nervous system. It arouses a person to greater passions or it calms him by bringing him peace. According to the sound and its influence, a certain effect is produced. Sound becomes visible in the form of radiance. This shows that the same energy which
goes into the form of sound before being visible is absorbed by the physical body. In that way the physical body recuperates and becomes charged
with new magnetism." Hazrat Inayat Khan[Sound] healing can be studied and understood by studying the music of one’s own life, studying the rhythm of the pulse, the rhythm of the beating of the heart and of the head. Physicians who are sensitive to rhythm determine the condition of the patient by examining the rhythm of the pulse, the beating of the heart, the rhythm of the circulation of the blood. And to find the real complaint a physician, with all his material knowledge, must depend upon his intuition and upon the use of his musical qualities." Hazrat Inayat Khan
